I have an internet idea, I'm ready to build but don't have time to build the site. I can hardly afford a professional developer, but the project is so easy my kids could almost do it. How can I find an inexpenseve ASP developer with database connectivity skills, to whip up a system for me?
Inexpensive computer software design/development . . . where can I find it?
well if its any help google provides a great free webware for web site developement with out knowing any actual html code

Reply:Remember that inexpensive typically conflicts with professional.. That is to say that inexpensive is more times than not going to result in sub-par work and not help with the product in the end. That aside I can think of 2 'reasonable' ways to hook-up with inexpensive coders. Both have their risks and as long as you are aware of those risks and have good measures in place to mitigate those risks you should be alright.
1) Check out your local colleges and get an computer science student to do it. Make sure that at the end of the project the student has to give you the source code %26amp; rights to the source code, might even want to make them sign an NDA.
2) Go to one of the many rent-a-coder like web-site(s) and have coders bid for your project. Here, again, you'll want to make sure you end up with the source code, rights to the source code, and probably get an NDA. Other things about this approach that you need to consider are keeping on schedule, communicating with the developer, building trust, and weeding out developer who bid for something they can't really deliver.
Reply:The do-it-yourself tools stink. Send it my way and I'll take a look at it.
