What kind of software would you guys say would be the best as far as character design, texture mapping, etc goes? I'm looking to start learning how to create my own games to possibly get them published and need to know what kind of software I should use. Thanks.

Im pretty sure its expensive, if i were you i would i would probally call and ask them xD
