Writing/Screenwriting -- Character Development Software - Any?

Looking for free/inexpensive software that will keep track of about 50 characters... Kinda like most script writing software does, but with just the character database part..

Basically, All i want to have a list of names (about a 100) that if i click a name, i get a freeform textbox to read or enter a lot of info about that character..

I dont need any of the other scriptwriting utilities, but would rather have a good character development database instead...

I have screenWriter Pro, which has a basic version, but I would rather have something more detailed.. Maybe have jpeg capabilities..

I bought a program called New Novelist that was supposed to be really good. It helps you plot and track characters. It didn't work well with my writing style but it might help you. It asks lots of questions about each character and then makes a section for that character. It wasn't very expensive--I got it on Ebay brand new for around $20. Some links below to places which sell writer software, and to my site which has some writing stuff on it.

If you know how to use Microsoft Access, you could easily build your own program like what you're looking for. And you could in include pictures.
Reply:What about an employee database instead?
